Ocean Beaches Glassblowing & Gallery

At Ocean Beaches Glass, our beginnings and our continued primary focus has been on hand-blown glass art. Almost all of our blown glass is created in our studio inside of the gallery by glass artist Bob Meyer. Bob creates a wide range of items, and works toward accommodating all tastes.

We also offer blown glass art from a couple other glassblowers to complement the work done by Bob.

As we've grown, we've found what a wealth of artistic talent exists in the Central Oregon Coast area.

First, we brought in some watercolor and oil paintings from a handful of artists that live right in our neighborhood. Shortly after that, a couple of stained glass artists showed up, then a couple of fused glass artists. Then we found local artists that did copper repousse', mixed media art, lamporked beads, and jewelry with Swarovsky crystals. All from artists that lived within maybe a 10-mile radius!

We decided to bring in some ceramic pieces from an artist we met at a show from Otis, then some lampwork items from a studio in Mapleton and a couple in Eugene. Although we've gone outside our immediate neighborhood for some of our art, we're proud to say that it all comes from right here in Oregon!
